Northern tool refuses to honor a gift card which they say has expired, because although their normal
gift cards don 't expire, this "promotional" one that was obtained by redeeming credit card points, does. There is nothing on the card itself which states this expiration period, nor does the card look any different thatn one obtained by buying one from their site!. So I ' m out $100:. BTW we are a large commercial build out company operating here in the midwest, and deal with 100's of vendors, so its not the $100 that *** me off.. Its their piss poor attitude of "there's nothing we can do" , and the general poor
business practice that this occurence demonstrates'. They should be honoring their own card, whether someone buys it from them or gets it thru redemming credit card points, essentially its got their name on it,. YOU CAN BET THAT THEY OR ANY OF MY CONSTRUCTIION CONTACTS WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM,. A SIGN HAS GONE UP IN MY RECEPTION ROOM TELLING THE WORLD NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM|. I'LL MAKE SURE THAT THIS $100 COSTS THEM 10X AS MUCH:. THERE'S DOZENS OF TOOL SITES OUT THERE, USUALLY WITH BETTER PRICES, I'LL JUST GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS. 35b1ace
