Forks were poorly made and broke right at a stress point within a week. I Shipped them back to Northern tool and they didn't refund the money because 30 days had passed since they authorized the return. My receipt shows it was but it took over a week to get to them. We had to keep looking through our VISA bills for a refund I had to make many calls to resolve this and still not resolved.... Read more

I WENT TO THE MARIETTA GA STORE AND TRIED TO PURCHASE A SPRAYER, THEY COULDN'T FIND ONE TO DEMONSTRATE TO ME THAT EVEN WORKED. WE USED A CAR TO PLUG INTO, STILL NOTHING. THEN I LOOKED AT THE PRICE, I HAD PRICED IT OUIT 3 WEEKS BEFORE AND ASSUMED IT WAS THE SAME, WELL I GUESS THEY INSTITUTED A 5000- PERCENT INCREASE DURING THAT TIME. Ordered items Tuesday July 8th and I paid for a 1-3 business day delivery. The next day I received a call from Yellow Freight stating that items will arrive Monday July 14th. Terrible customer service and attitudes with one exception thank goodness. I bought an Efco backpack blower in September 2013. In May 2014 it stopped working.I took it back to Northern Tool on Statesville Ave in Charlotte because it came with a 5 year warranty. And it sat there for 6 weeks. Placed an order on June 7, their website showed the item shipped on June 10 and it would be 6-8 business days for shipment to arrive. The tracking number provided by Northern Tool was invalid according to the USPS website. On June 18 (8 business days after claimed shipping) no shipment had arrived. This the compliant I file with the NYS Attorney Generals Office about Northern tool. Product # 330973 I purchased a propane gas furnace, the product was defective, the company replace it, that one was also defective. The company replace the defective part, it too was defective. DO NOT order from them online. I placed an order for delivery to my local store and was told that it would take 5-15 business days. My credit card was charged immediately. I called to find out where my merchandise was and they could not locate it. I cancelled the order and was told that my card would be credited the full amount. I purchased a 24" belt drive fan to replace a 30" direct drive. The belt drive is promoted on the Northern Tool website as quieter than a direct drive. It was NOT. The fan was so loud we could not use it. It also appeared to have a bad bearing as it made a womp womp sound. I asked for a return authorization and was told I would have to pay for the return plus a 15% restocking fee. The scary part... Read more
