Bought honda generator and it wouldn't start new out of the box. Called honda and they said we could clean carbs and pilot jets. So it finally started but surged under load. Took it back in less than 30 days and they said they can't honor warranty due to gas an oil being in generator. How do you test or run a new one without gas and oil? Ludicrous! I bought a hasquvarn chainsaw and used it one time and it locked up and I even bought a 2 year accident insurance and I took it back to get fixed and made me pay 37.00 to even look at it and then told me it was 225.00 to fix and that's more than paid for the whole *** thing , this is *** and I will never buy from this people again and tell every one I know to never buy from this rip off artist Add comment

Paid for the extended warranty. The XRP Drill failed to operate after one year. Northern would not replace it until the consumer warranty expired. So i put it on the shelf until that time came. Called them up submitted a claim Debbie denied my claim due to the fact i did not use the consumer warranty and pay extra $$$ out of my pocket to fix the piece of junk. Forks were poorly made and broke right at a stress point within a week. I Shipped them back to Northern tool and they didn't refund the money because 30 days had passed since they authorized the return. My receipt shows it was but it took over a week to get to them. We had to keep looking through our VISA bills for a refund I had to make many calls to resolve this and still not resolved.... Read more

I WENT TO THE MARIETTA GA STORE AND TRIED TO PURCHASE A SPRAYER, THEY COULDN'T FIND ONE TO DEMONSTRATE TO ME THAT EVEN WORKED. WE USED A CAR TO PLUG INTO, STILL NOTHING. Terrible customer service and attitudes with one exception thank goodness. I bought an Efco backpack blower in September 2013. In May 2014 it stopped working.I took it back to Northern Tool on Statesville Ave in Charlotte because it came with a 5 year warranty. And it sat there for 6 weeks. Placed an order on June 7, their website showed the item shipped on June 10 and it would be 6-8 business days for shipment to arrive.
